Frequently Asked Questions

Below you will find frequently asked questions and the corresponding answers.

  • Is there a weight limit for passengers?

Yes, for design and insurance reasons, the maximum load on the rear seat is 180 kg. By booking, you declare that the combined weight of your passengers and luggage will not exceed this limit. Failure to comply may result in the loss of insurance and cancellation of the trip.

  • We're not at the departure meeting point on time. What now?

Please inform your tour guide as soon as possible using the telephone number on your ticket. Please try to arrive at the agreed location approximately 5 minutes BEFORE the start of your rickshaw experience. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your booked tour may not be possible, or may only be operated in a modified or shortened manner (especially for round trips). Please be understanding, as we do not want to delay passengers on connecting journeys! If you are more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to cancel the tour. A 100% refund of the ticket price is then no longer possible. It's best to make sure you arrive on time! Find out about the route and the current traffic situation well in advance, and plan extra time for your journey.

  • Can you drive the rickshaw yourself?

Unfortunately not. Our rickshaws are not available to self-drivers, for insurance reasons, among others.

  • How long is my ticket valid?

Your ticket is valid for one year from the date of purchase. You now have 12 months to enjoy your rickshaw experience. Please redeem it within this period.

  • Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are also welcome to ride in our rickshaws. Please note, however, that we can only accommodate smaller dogs. Your dog must be kept on a short leash and sit on your lap or in the footwell. It must be ensured that it cannot leave the rickshaw under any circumstances during the ride! The total weight of the passengers, including the dog, must not exceed 180 kg. Please understand that you are responsible for any accidents caused by your dog.

  • Can I accompany the rickshaw on my bicycle?

Yes, that's possible. However, there's an additional charge, as I'm the tour guide. Even if you pedal yourself, you'll still participate in my tours. It's also a bit more work for me, as I now have to pay more attention to accompanying cyclists. However, riding along is at your own risk. You can find further information in the shop under "Additional Services" > "Accompanying Persons."

  • Do you have to cancel your tour?

Generally, a tour can be canceled free of charge up to 24 hours before its scheduled start date and rescheduled to another available date. Please note that any rescheduling must be confirmed by us in writing! Without this confirmation, you risk cancellation of your tour without replacement!

  • Bad weather. Now what?

First things first: Cancellations of experiences are only binding with our written confirmation! From wind force 6 (wind speed > 39 km/h) and persistent rain, we will notify you by phone or email that our rickshaw experience is canceled. You will either receive a voucher, or we will check the calendar together and arrange an alternative date. In the event of storms, hurricane hail, snowstorms, and thunderstorms, as well as warnings of these weather conditions in our operational areas, we will not operate the rickshaw experience.

  • Are the tours suitable for children?

Yes, children are welcome on board. However, insurance regulations and the exemption from the Public Order Office stipulate that children must be at least 7 years old, and children up to the age of 12 may only travel with a supervised adult.

  • Smoking and consumption of food and drinks on board?

Smoking is strictly prohibited on board. Consumption of food and drinks is also prohibited. Please note that failure to comply may result in the tour being terminated immediately, and you will be held liable for any damage or necessary cleaning.

  • Are there house rules?

Please note that you must always follow your tour guide's instructions. They have the authority to rule on board and can cancel or interrupt the tour without compensation in the event of violations of the Terms and Conditions or the "House Rules." In particular, violations of smoking and consumption bans, excessive intoxication of passengers that endangers safety, or threats or violence constitute violations of the House Rules and will result in the immediate termination of the tour. We reject any claims for reimbursement of resulting costs, such as taxi fares to the starting point.
